LERSA MEETS WITH LAGOS STATE HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY ON OGOMBO DEMOLITIONS
The LERSA Leadership led the subscribers and EXCO members of Roseville Estate to a public hearing at the Lagos State House of Assembly on Monday 4th December 2023.
The meeting was quite eventful as representatives of the respective MDAs and other stakeholders were present.
The hearing was chaired by Hon. Ladi Ajomale, while the LERSA Team was led by President – Alhaji Sulyman Bello, accompanied by Pastor Uche Iheakanwa - Chairman of LERSA Power Committee. Mr. Remmy Akubude, Chairman of Roseville Garden, their legal adviser, key subscribers and representatives of the indigenous landowning family, spoke on behalf of the estate.
While the House Committee requested further supporting documents from all parties, all concerned LASG agencies were directed to maintain status quo, until all the issues are resolved and final pronouncements made by the Lagos State House of Assembly.
